i think you need a more permanent installation

each of these engines demonstrates weak area's
mine is cam chain and pcv system
[common to all but excessive in mine]

i'm not a fan of JB weld for crucial assemblies

i would suggest
take your best guess, talk with your old pre college shop teacher
get as many opinions as possible

then do it in the most permanent manner you can think of

mine is tapped and has given no problems

looks like meth dyno next fri or so

they have an almost completely hidden install planned

at 1st
joe said are you sure?

then ,maybe i'll add 2lb boost

then, passed it to Robert and Chris

things got interesting as they got interested

this motor, turbo system, with the meth and nitrous systems installed, could be making nearly 500whp

with a life span measured in minutes
damn

Damn man........

Your MAF is definitely covered in oil. If you plan to drive the car make sure to keep the MAF clean.

I assume you aren't driving it.

I don't remember how you kit is set up and 2j doesn't have a pic on the website anymore.

Is your PCV even actually hooked up?????
Usually everyone disconnects the PCV from the manifold.

I'll be surprised if your PCV is still connected to the intake manifold.

I doubt it crankcase ventilation related. I can't say it for sure is not. But I doubt it. But keep in mind I dont remember at all how your stuff is set up.

Most likely that oil is coming from your turbo. The thing you need to know is why.
Definitely need to talk to Joe because if it has something to do with that drain setup he will want to figure that out FAST as he possibly can. That would be a nightmare

Again. I cannot say what it is. I cannot know for sure. And I am not saying it is in fact anything in particular.

Well. The turbo (or the drain attached to thr turbo) is dripping oil onto the manifold. Anyone else thinks it is a little backed up?

That means it's leaking. That doesn't mean it's backed up. Not an uncommon leak

Fix it. Fire hazard.

I only ran it till i saw that. I didn't see where it was leaking from though. You say the drain is just loose most likely

I didn't say it was loose. I guess it's possible.

I said it's pretty common to end up with a leak there. Might just need a new gasket. Sometimes they still weep a little even with brand new gaskets. Mine does.

If you aren't sure where it's leaking from. Why say it's from there?

Figure out where it's leaking. You can get a mirror tool thing to see most everywhere

I can see generally where its from and where it is hitting the manifold.

Yo.....
2j put this install video up.....

Do you have a catch can?

If you dont have a catch can, or if your can is full, I can see why you'd have oil in your piping and intercooler.

Pull your turbo inlet pipe off and see if there's oil in it and if there's oil all over your compressor wheel.
