"Looking to buy a new or used DC Sports Short Ram Intake that would work on my 1.8S Sentra" Well if you don't mind advice from an old guy. I don't think you're going to get much if any improvement in HP, delivered to the pavement. If that was your objective, The volume delivered to the combustion chambers is limited to the size of your intake and exhaust ports, and also the length of time your valves are held open as dictated by the cam. There was an old saying in the 60s. "There's no replacement for displacement" That was true until "blowers" er...belt driven superchargers or exhaust driven turbos, and later Nitro hit the aftermarket. Now if you wanted to dress up the engine that's different story. I have an 02 Sentra with the 1.8, with the five speed manual. Probably the best car I ever owned, I still have my 64 Buick Skylark, restored re 87 IROC Blue, the mill is a 225 cu in odd fire V6. It turned in 18 sec, in the quarter mile at ATCO in N.J. I had the same questions. The only thing that would change the e.t would be modifications of the heads, a turbo with slicks to keep the rear wheels on the ground. Then again without a factory sponsor any internal upgrades will prematurely end the life of the engine. Because installing a racing cam, without installing beefed up pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, custom heads, a dual sprocket timing chain puts extreme pressure on all of the adjacent drive train parts. In short a ground up engine rebuild I decided is pointless, and we're not even talking about suspension, tires etc.. Oh, there was a guy down the street who raced at ATCO, super stock class. Showed me his trophies, about 30 of them. He said they are just dust collectors, each about 4 dollars in raw materials, brass, marble base, etc vs under a thousand or so he invested into his SS. A thousand back in 68 is equal to $8,563.56, in today's dollars. He told me to take care of the car, enjoy driving it. Also don't do anything stupid.. Everybody knows what that means. All the 😃 best.. E
