my max doesnt have hlsd( so stupid cuz nissan shuld made it from the factory instead of it being a dam option for the 6speeds) anyway... wuld the specv hlsd fit into the maxima 6speed tranny with no problems? i think it might be cheaper and easier then buying a whole maxima hlsd tranny...rather just get the hlsd from a specv and swap it into my tranny itself... opinions welcome :wave:

You'd have to check, but I researched an Altima SER Tranny, (check my VQ Swap thread) same idea... it turned out to have a different belhousing, so you'd need that probably.

^^ cuz i kno people use maxima tranny guts in their specv rannys but all i want is the lsd from one ( probably cheaper) and throw it into my tranny....

^^ r u sereious? that sucks ballz... the bell housing shuldnt have anything to do with the different tranny type tho... doesnt make sence to me ... i got more research to do

u need a hlsd bell-housing buy one and slap on spec-v hlsd it should work. maybe even putting a spec-v trans with the vq bell-housing.
