Wow thanks a lot man. Is they’re anyone you know of that has done this that could give part numbers?
I'll look when I get home tonight I have a set of brembo rear brackets in my garage. Also a set of rotors I'll see if I can find parts numbers

I have done it.
But I don't have part numbers.

I got calipers because I had a leaky caliper so I needed a caliper anyway. I forget if I got them at Advanced or Orileys but regardless....was able to look up the correct calipers in their computer.

I'm pretty sure that bracket part number is the correct bracket. You just need to make sure to get the right rotors. That shouldn't be too hard. Usually you can see rotor dimensions and you obviously want the larger diameter ones. Make sure you get the larger rotors. Brembo option rotors. Don't get confused and order Brembo BRAND base option rotors by mistake. I don't even know if you can get Brembo BRAND Brembo option rotors, but I know you can get Brembo BRAND base option rotors.

Check this out
The Maxima is 5 lug
DO NOT get Maxima Rotors!

And what they are mentioning about 5er is him saying something about the Maxima bracket being a little different and the pad was a little different.
Regardless if he is right or wrong. It doesn't matter. They are wasting their time worrying about Maxima parts unless they are trying to go 5 lug.

The SENTRA parts are available.
It is easy to find the proper 4 lug SENTRA rotors for the Brembo option. And the brackets are available. Just make sure to order the correct bracket.

The Sentra pads are the same on Brembo and Non Brembo rears. Who cares what pads a Maxima uses??? You can get Sentra pads. But I just cross referenced the part numbers myself and they are the same. So the brackets may be the same. But it doesn't matter. You can get Sentra brackets

I just looked on Rock Auto. Its super easy to find the right rotors. LOTS of choices. You can go super cheap and get them for Under $10 :lmao:. Or buy some nicer ones that cost more.

The rotors are no problem.
The trick is getting the correct bracket ;)
And I'm pretty positive I already found you the correct bracket.

Here man.
So you feel better about what I said already.

Cross referenced part numbers for you again.
This is a 02 MAXIMA Bracket
SAME Bracket I said was the Brembo Bracket.
Same part #

Don't worry about Maxima parts.
That's for junkyard hunters and cheap 5 lug swap hunters.

And I repeat...
DO NOT GET MAXIMA ROTORS!!!!!! 5 LUG!

Oh whoops lol

Not cheap as fuck lol
Forgot about the core charge :ugh:
$80:crazy:

But cheap as fuck if you already had Brembos so you wouldn't have to worry about that huge core charge.

Anyway....core charges aside.....

You should be able to Brembo Front AND Rear for pretty cheap.

The cost of those calipers is high but everything else is or can be cheap.

Seems like you could easily swap all 4 corners around $500 or less depending on what rotors and pads you choose to buy. Cost varies on what you decide to choose. Like I said...there's rear rotors under $10 :lmao:

HUGE improvement over Base option brakes.

I put up a thread about the remanufactured front calipers and also posted in that thread which bracket is the correct bracket for the rear

Its actually the cheapest big brake upgrade. Considering its all 4 corners. Depending what pads and rotors you choose it can be dumb cheap or moderately expensive.

Hard to argue with other than wieght factor. But they're probably lighter than 300zx, or worst case about the same. Only the EXPENSIVE upgrades are lighter (and are also lighter than base option brakes.....Super Light;)...which is why IMO worth the higher cost than Brembo)

Says they are actually Stop Tech and if you look they are obviously Stop Tech.......also the 2j ones are actually Stop Tech....so only difference would/should be these don't have little 2j labels on them.

i found the brembos more difficult to use [ hard]
more likely to lock up than the wilwoods

on another topic

i wanted a R model, when i bought this new.
nada
so settled for an S

but didn't like the brembo's
ended up with a hybrid

standard brakes
front nismo bar
nismo bushings

and now i know [ read think] it had nismo cams
156whp on the dyno
ten above average

and from the factory with 1.5* neg camber

was an odd car, right from the very start
had been on the dealers lot for months

i miss its daily driverness
a fun, just hop in and drive, economical car
with low insurance rates

btw
on mine
there is a 10 min preflight check every time it moves.

and you'd best be,
truly present [awake and aware]while driving

not exactly a causal car

had a honda for a run-about
v6 power, but.....

anyway, sold it
need a freezing rd capable car

a run-about
to roust-a-bout

yeah no car for over a month
[brought it in too close to vacation time]

produces delirious thoughts

But I have seen Z people bitching about people selling Sentra Brembos as Z Brembos
And these definitely are NOT Z Brembos. Amd they Do look like Sentra Brembos

The Z guys have a way to run our Brembos.
I'll go look into that. Maybe we can also run Z Brembos somehow

I’ve got another question. I’m looking for a cheap cold air intake and I’m not sure how this works but I really want to keep the mass airflow sensor connected. Whenever I look online they never say if there’s a port to plug in the mass airflow sensor. And it’s really hard to just look at pictures to see if people keep it plugged in. I have avoided the check engine light so far I want to keep it that way.
