I have an 03' Sentra Spec-V w/ 150k. Car runs phenominal. No smoke, no leaks. However, it uses 2quarts of oil every 2 weeks. I recently topped it off, then checked it again the next day, after it had set all day while I was @ work, and it again read 2 quarts low. I drove to the parts store to get oil, & when I came out to fill it up after the car was warm, it showed full ... WTF? Any ideas would be appreciated ...

Did you remove the precat manifold yet? If not theres your problem. Are you losing coolant? Compression test?

You can try a engine oil additives for minor relief. Rislone compression fix.

tried Rislone, just bought the car @ auction about a month ago, so no idea what has been done as of yet. trying to get all of the minor things worked out before I do anything to it ... thx for input. any help with input on pointers or tricks for this vehicle are appreciated. usually into the Honda scene, so pretty new to the Nissan

Just something to put out. If the comestics of the car is crap then the car has never been taken care of.

Sorry man. It seems as if you ate a screw if it is burning that much oil so quickly.

You might have to get the engine rebuilt.
