Anyone try Amsoil GL4 75W90? I had Redline 75W85 GL4 which ran great when warm, but a bit notchy when cold.

I ran it before but I had issues with it. I don't know if I'm the only one that had it but I had a tranny whine after about 5-6k miles on it, then when I switched back to the MT85 Redline, it immediately went away. Tranny feel felt the same, but I am in Cali so temperature wise it's not much help as to your cold concern.

Can't remember if I ran amsoil in the Sentra but I did run it in the wife's versa and it ran fine.

I run redline shock proof light and have no complaints.

Got the BG Synchromesh in mine. Used it for 30k. When I changed it, it was still fresh out the bottle clear gold. 3rd is notchy at higher rpm but I feel thats more of a trans issue.
