Uhhh-huh-no Don't assume I bought a shitty Autozone mater cylinder....I didn't.

Second I didn't blame anyone...This is a thread for suggestions for 2jr parts, I made one. The thread for being a douche bag is somewhere else.

I've had issues with OEM(which last longer) and aftermarket brands it's legit to look into IMO. I love 2jr, they work magic I never hate on them .

"Really wish 2jr would hook up a master cylinder that could actually handle the extra demand of they're upgraded clutch. I love my stage 2 clutch from them but don't like the unreliability it brings with installing it."

i was refering to the "unreliability" reference. i have never heard of this problem but from you. maybe you have an underlaying problem bud.

i'll chime in here
no bad parts from 2jr

however, a stage 4 clutch puts a tremendous demand on the hydraulic system
i find slave cylinders go out more often than stock
[for me less frequent master cylinder failure]

this is not a 2jr error
but the oem part was not designed for these forces
and so fail earlier

i too, would like to see 2jr make a more heavy duty slave cylinder
at least

i get somewhat over a year on the slave cylinders
on average

this clutch is used for racing purposes
not a street clutch

I wonder if there is a company that 'rebuild' cylinders to make them stronger.

I need some 2J-Racing ear plugs for my car
i have them lol
from a gun shop

the jelly like nylon/plastic type
can be molded to your ear

don't seem noticeable to the police
and don't interfere with normal conversation
outside the car

they do stop the drumming from reaching your ear drum well
without interfering with normal traffic sounds

at gun shops everywhere

imo

Thanks Yogi....I know I'm not the only person whose had issue with master cylinders since installing 2jr clutch's. That's what I was thinking....bulk up the internals.

Theres that expandable diafram on the bottom of the master cylinder and that completely blew out, leaking out all my clutch fluid.

Just wonder if Joe's ever thought about it?

Just throwing it out there. But I had a throw out bearing go bad and it kept blowing out my master cylinder. Jussayin that yes, very well could be an underlying problem.

I replaced TOB when I changed the clutch but thanks good looking...sucks its not easy to check on that without some major work.
Did you have any other symptoms besides the master cylinder going out?

Following that train of thought, sell those infamous auto trannys with an LSD? IIRC they came on some Canadian Altimas.
But will they fit in the Sentra??

Read the article, seem a bit complicated but doable. Maybe 2J could make a kit for us if there was enough interest or we'll have to stay the underdogs & do for ourselves.

As did I...
Discovered after the fact that TOB was backwards... shit happens. What happened was the metal tangs didn't allow full smooth pivoting of the fork and eventually those broke. But the TOB was being pressed in at an angle and getting stuck on the tranny snout.
Not accusing you of the same but I'm saying shit happens. And I highly doubt it's just the clutch causing it

As far as other symptoms, there was a faint clicking sound and the pedal felt like what I thought was smooth. But after fixing it, it was very apparent that the pedal was a bit more "sticky" on the way down, if you will
