Hi im pretty new here and this is my first post. I was wondering if anyone had ever looked at the gas pedal, seen that there is still room for it to go and tried to cut a section of the carpet to push it farther? I cut a sliver of the carpet to look under and saw that there is a block of plastic or something to stop it from going farther. What is this little thing and can it be removed? or is it there for some reason?

Ive wondered about this too, but I don't think it means anything. The throttle is electronic and I highly doubt Nissan would design the car to not deliver full throttle. Messing with the pedal stop will probably just damage your throttle pedal assembly when you gun it.

As he said, you are not doing any favors except wasting time since it is an electronic controller for the TB, just cause it "feels" like it can go further doesn't mean anything...in all actuality the throttle never goes 100% on the factory ecu until it has been reflashed.
