Anyone know how much material can be taken off of the block and head of a QR25DE, without ruining them?

I'm not exactly sure but I think the max warpage on the QR is .004 so you wouldn't want to mil over that. Get a straight edge and check the block with a .002 feeler gauge and go from there. If you mill over .004 you may have to go with a thicker custom head gasket like Cometic.
