Recently I've begun to dig deep into the engine bay in an effort to meticulously clean things. It started on the idea of a small relocate job, but just kept growing and growing into much, much more.

Things I've done up to this point:

Removed the windshield washer fluid system

Picked up these

Removed the bumper, support, fenders, hood, tons of other shit

Removed all this stuff

Pulled the wiring harness from the passenger side

Did some cleaning on the passenger side

Before:

After:

Drivers side of the engine bay

Ripped that bracket off

Aftermath

Need to sand down and clean that side.

Not even a 1/4 of the parts I have laying around

Cool picture ending

More to come.

Nice clean up job man! Do you have any tips for me on how to keep it staying clean? I degreased my whole engine bay recently and its already geting dirty again. I like the monster green on the valve cover.

no big update.
i've been extremely swamped with school lately, not to mention its been way too cold to work on the car.
still have to purchase a number of small parts and tools as well.

picked up a dremel though. i instantly fell in love with it.

did a quick sand of the areas which had spot welds from the bracket, still have to go over the marks i made while ripping it off

more to come when it gets warm, which will hopefully be soon.

Damn, Bob...how much time do you have on your hands?! Good job though...

And finally lowering it huh?
Not as much as it seems. Im busy with school and there's enough mini-projects going on right now to keep this thing out of commission for the year. There's been a number of 3AM nights and empty 6-packs so far. I'm hoping to have it done by June though..

Yes, a drop. Nothing special. Sportlines for the front and Prokit rears.

Damn smokey, i wish you were closer to the city. I need help with my nitrous kit!
Shoot me a PM with any questions you have. I have no problem helping out a fellow nitrous fan.

Ah, the dremel 4000. The same one Ive got.
I love it. Been using it non-stop since I picked her up.
