I need to check for codes but car sits and surges from 1000 to 1300 or so..up and down up and down...
SURGING AT IDLE?

So either vacuum leak, dirty maf, tb issues right off the back. Will wait for a code though.

ok. delayed in getting back but the latest is the idle issue went away.
drove it for the 1st time really after doing a few things ( header install, t-stats , fans , radiator) and the issue was gone.
the codes on it were PO102 PO113

0102 is for MAF circuit
0113 is for primary o2 sensor
0113 is for primary o2 sensor

Where is the primary O2 sense located?

primary is on the header in same location as the OEM piece was.
beendriving it 3 days and the surge seems to have stopped.
