Git'r done! The penetrant failed to do what it was meant to do after 7 days of pooling. Snapped 2 Harbor Freight extractors and said fuck it. Drilled new holes and dress bolt is being held by a nut.
No more free floating radiator!
Cleaned up years of caked up grease from my engine bay. I've never felt the need to clean an engine bay before but when I bought this car is was a mess. Everything in that picture used to have a thick layer of grease on it.
Resurfaced my front rotors and pads since they had so much meat on them left. Didn't get a pic of the pads but the one to the left is before and the right one is after I got app the grooves out. I did this with 80 grit sandpaper on an orbital sander.
Well they're aftermarket and came with the car so nothing lost for me. Although I will say they turned out great. After all was said and done I took it out for a ride and it all checked out. No shaking or anything funky, just solid braking power.
Hey guy, I’m finishing up a swap on an 02 spec v. Put an 05 motor and harness into it. Seeing if anyone knows how to solve the CAN communication malfunction u1001 code. Among other things. Did a full engine/ecm swap. BCM NATS/ column swap. Wondering if anyone has some esp with this.

Wanted to know if Nissan still offers new ECM for 04 spec v sentra? Also if buying used, would only the P7 have to be the same. What about those numbers and letters below the UPC bar? I think it has around 14 digits. Would that need to be the same also. Thanks
So after degreasing my engine bay to isolate any oil looks I have found that my timing cover leaks oil at the gasket and so does my oil pan. The oil pan I'm not worried about at all, but I'm really dreading taking that timing cover off just to put some fresh rtv on there. I can do it just fine I...
