Hey guys! Its been a while! My spec v has been boosted for around 90k miles now and ive already gone through two turbos! The first one got 55k on it and the second one got about 35k out of it. Its only on 10psi and I change the oil every 5k with honda 5w30 blended. Both are turbos are the same turbonetics t3/t4 50 trim .63 AR. How long do these usually last? I feel like i should be getting a little more longevity out of them. Both have failed catastrophically too. Not like slight shaft play but total seizure of compressor wheel. Also are there any other t3/t4 turbos that just bolt up to the standard treadstone kit? (4 bolt dp)? Thanks guys!

Could be a number of things....
Improper Oil restrictor and or oil feed line
Improper cool downs
Contamination / dirt getting into the inlet

I think oil restrictors are only needed for ball bearing turbos, if you are journal bearing. Also use a 5w40 full synthetic and change every 3k.
