Plasti-Dipped the grille, fog covers (they were fading) and the Nissan Badge on the trunk! Again, pardon the cellphone pics. I took these pics this morning so no times for the DSLR besides, the car is dirty heh.

Before*

After*

Then, after... AFTER... had to raise it an inche due to scraping the speed bumps..

Me= Happy!
Pardon the blistering FL bright sunlight... threw off some of the colors due to highlights and glare.

Installed the Rear Brace

Energy Suspension Bushing

3-Point Bar

The trunk bar was a pain in the ass... tight spaces... cut up my left wrist/arm good lol...

Wasn't able to full test it but come Monday I will play with it more >: )

Pulleeeeeeeeeeeeey! :D

So, got the CAI and the Pulley installed. No pics of the Pulley as you can't see it from the top angle nor of the filters etc etc... Noticeable gain, yet it isn't massive the sound is something I gotta get use to... sounds nothing like my ol' KA24DE with an intake... CVT makes it long and annoying unless you shut off OD then switch it back on for quick accel. I did notice a better response in RPM's due to the pulley. Feels like the car wants to haul even though it's standing still heh... overall well worth the money the mods.

Excuse the pictures and the dirty bay :p

Once again, pardon the low quality pics. Haven't had time to wash the car and break out the DSLR... enjoy. Put in the Hood Riser/Spacers/Washers, 3000K Fog HID's and the C-Mod grille. :D

Yeah Barry, the car has a different attitude in both looks and handling. Still needs some more parts here and there for the suspension but I'll get there. As of right now the output of the stock bulbs have bothered me too much now. It's time to fix that.

An earlier post about boost it and I'll be happy... I would agree but these applications are non-existent to the MR20, in light of that I don't have the time to abandon my car in a local shop to play case study with the reliability or lack there of in trials of the MR20 going boost. Plus, as Barry mentioned it's a CVT so a 6spd swap would be in order if this were to happen. I would much rather swap in an older motor like the SR+MT.

We will see.. Something that massive of a project will be left for last and with a beater lurking until all the trials and errors are iron'd out.

turbo has been a reliability and maintenance headache for me
love the power though

and for all the complaints
this motor is going on for almost 10,000 miles

2k miles past my NA build
I don't plan on over doing it really.. Just something to push hard enough to enjoy the little go-kart more lol. I hate the sounds of the CVT+Motor plus the gain is lateral and slow which is boring. The cornering is amazing and the tires add braking power/bite where the stock base brake are a pos heh. I want a low psi turbo setup... when/if I go ahead with this the tranny will be swapped. 250whp~300whp... more or less.. I would be content within that range + reliability.

Just added the Shims, handles waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better... the rear is behaving! Still rub slightly on excessive speeds over smooth waved dips. Also, we determined that the reason the rear pops out more on one side is because when they fixed the rear end damage they didn't put the quarter panel to stock specs and it's a bit pushed in than the other side. The DS rear wheel rubs a lot less with the shims but still rubs because of that body shop fuck up.

Indeed, I don't believe I'm being too greedy at trying to get to the 300+ whp. I like corners but every now and then you need straights speed and getting out of the corners speed for fun... I do drive aggressive since the new tires/wheels these turns are like butters now! :D
