I've had a recurring P0037 code for the longest time. I can't seem to get rid of the thing. After searching the forum, it seems that I'm not the only one who has this problem and that perhaps it is a common one.

Does anybody else or has anybody else had a problem with this code? Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Thank you very much in advance.

The code has been gone for about 5 days now. It just randomly turned off while driving. So I went and hurried up and took my emissions test and passed. Now I don't care if the code comes back. I'm good for the next 2 years. haha. Thanks for all the input.

Ok guys where to start.... I have been working on this issue for a couple of hours... ( not a skilled licensed mechanic but able to find my way around) I had a code pop for P0037.... This is the H02S2 ( down stream) O2 Sensor Heater Circuit... This is meant to heat the sensor to around 750 deg. I was able to get these docs from Nissan... Found out I had a broken wire near the fire wall and cross members... I will try to get photos of actual location later... Any one still having issues I would try these steps first before spending the $100.00 USD on a new O2 Sensor....

my test as follows : Diag Code 0037, Rear O2 Heater Low Current, 02 Heater Resistance High at 9 OHMS, should be 2.5-5. No Voltage to Heater Circuit at O2
